Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform on-site sampling, testing and other on-site functions in a safe, accurate, and competent manner in accordance to ISO 17025 requirements.
  • To acquire information for sample processing from customer during on-site sampling.
  • Collect samples from client with proper preservation in accordance to ISO 17025 requirements and to ensure a safe delivery of samples to the lab.
  • Upkeep and maintain the cleanliness of the company vehicle.
  • Assist in planning and arranging monthly sampling and site-testing schedule.
  • To update the department/ laboratory on any change of sampling and site-testing schedule due to unforeseen circumstances (with documented proof) on a timely basis.
  • To prepare materials required for field work and sampling.
  • Perform on-site calibration of field equipment.
  • Maintain and upkeep the cleanliness and safety of the test sites.
  • Clean and maintain all testing apparatus and equipment.
  • Communicate with the laboratory and/or client for any changes in sampling or testing schedule.
  • Assist in the routine department operation when no field assignment is allocated.
  • Attend to customer's request and inquiry.
  • Deliver reports to customer alongside sampling.

Requirements:

  • Minimum SPM/ STPM/ Matriculation or equivalent.
  • Knowledge in Microbiology will be an added advantage.
  • Good understanding of good laboratory practices (GLP).
  • Self starter and pro-active
  • Result oriented and able to work under pressure.
  • A good team player
  • Work experience in related capacity is not necessary but will be an added advantage
  • Fresh graduates/Entry level applicants are encouraged to apply.
