Overview:

Responsible for creating, adjusting, and maintaining removable dental appliances, primarily complete and partial dentures, to restore or enhance patients' oral health and appearance.

Close collaboration with dentists, prosthodontists, and dental specialists to ensure that patients receive well-fitting and comfortable dentures.

Responsibilities:

Impressions and Models To create accurate and detailed models from the impressions or digital scans of patients' oral structures.

Prosthetics Design Design and plan the arrangement and shape of teeth for complete and partial dentures to achieve optimal aesthetics and function, in both conventional method as well as CAD/CAM.

Prosthetics Fabrication Fabricate complete dentures, partial dentures, and other removable dental appliances using laboratory equipment and techniques, including heat curing, injection molding, waxing, 3D printing and milling.

Adjustments and Repairs Ensure proper fit and function by making necessary adjustments and repairs to dentures, addressing issues like discomfort, poor retention, or damaged components.

Record Keeping Maintain accurate records of each case, including impressions, and any modifications made during the fabrication process.

Routine Maintenance Managing supply inventories, performing routine equipment maintenance and facilitating repairs.

Quality Control Perform quality checks to ensure that completed removable prosthetics meet aesthetic and functional standards.

Requirement:

  • Diploma or equivalent; formal training or certification in dental technology.
  • Knowledge of dental anatomy, occlusion and material properties.
  • Adept in using dental laboratory equipment.
  • Proficiency in dental CAD / CAM software, such as 3Shape, Exocad or Medit
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Effective communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM1, RM3,500.00 per month
