The Role

Reporting to the Principal Engineer, this is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Civil & Structural Engineer to join the talented team at WYA Consulting Engineers Sdn Bhd. Based on the beautiful Penang Island in Penang, you will play a key role in providing structural design and analysis for a range of commercial and residential development projects.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Carry out structural analysis and design for geotechnical engineering buildings and other civil engineering structures
  2. Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design requirements
  3. Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues
  4. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry standards, codes, and best practices
  5. Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and standards

What We're Looking For

  1. Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  2. We encourage fresh graduates to apply as training will be provided
  3. Proficient in the use of structural engineering software such as ETABS, SAP2000, or similar
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  6. Familiarity with Malaysian building codes and regulations
