Senior Hydrology

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
• 7 to 12 years of consultancy experience, preferably in hydrology and hydraulic engineering or water resources engineering.
• Fresh graduates with a strong interest in hydrology and hydraulics are also encouraged to apply.

Skills and Experience:

• Extensive experience in water resources, river, drainage, and/or flood mitigation projects.
• Proficient in hydrology and hydraulic modelling software such as DHI MIKE, InfoWorks ICM, HEC products, etc.
• High proficiency in technical report writing.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Coordinate and build effective relationships with government bodies, clients, subconsultants, and contractors.
• Experience with ISO 9001 standards implementation is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills, both in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head of Department in managing and executing project tasks.
• Provide mentorship, training, and guidance to junior engineers
• Attend client meetings and provide technical input as required.
• Participate in the preparation of ISO documentation.
• Engage in site visits, detailed design, and any required engineering tasks.
• Conduct technical studies and analysis to support project development.
• Prepare, review, and finalize technical reports, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Guide the draughting team in preparing detailed engineering drawings.
• Contribute to proposals and tender bidding activities and prepare associated documentation.
