Job Purpose :

  • Handling export Letter of Credit ("L/C") process guided by the operating procedures, guidelines, policies, practices, code of conduct and standards imposed by the Company/Group.
  • Checking workability's and advising Letter of Credit, examination of documents in accordance to the Uniform Customs and Practice and Documentary Credit (UCP 600) and International Standard Banking Practice (ISBP).
  • The observance of the bank's requirements with respect to Compliance, Anti-money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC) and reputational risk issues (first level check).
  • Complete trainings as and when assigned within the stipulated deadline.
  • Any other duties as required by the Team Lead, Line Manager or Head of Department.

Formal Education :

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.

Specialist knowledge (work experience, further qualification):

  • Minimum CGPA is 3.0 pointer
  • Required language(s): English is a must.
  • No work experience required.
  • Required Skill(s): computer, Microsoft Office
  • Preferably Entry Level specialized in Banking/Financial Services or equivalent

NOTE:

  • Successful candidates will be employed on a six (6) months contract directly under Commerz Trade Services Sdn Bhd. Upon completion of the Corporate Trainee Program, permanent employment will be offered based on the overall performance evaluation throughout the six (6) months program.
  • Successful candidates will undergo minimum of two (2) months comprehensive classroom training and on the job training.
