About the role

Zalam Corporation Sdn Bhd, a leading construction company, is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our team in Kapar, Selangor. As a Site Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful execution of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This full-time position offers the opportunity to contribute to the strategic growth of our organisation.

What you'll be doing

  1. Overseeing all aspects of the construction site, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating various trades and subcontractors
  2. Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
  3. Effectively managing and leading a team of construction professionals, including site engineers, foremen, and labourers
  4. Developing and implementing detailed project plans, tracking progress, and providing regular updates to project stakeholders
  5. Identifying and resolving any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process
  6. Collaborating with the design team to ensure the successful implementation of project specifications
  7. Maintaining accurate records and documentation for the project

What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience as a Site Manager or Construction Supervisor, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in the construction industry
  2. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and quality control procedures
  3. Excellent project management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  4. Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans, drawings, and specifications
  5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
  6. Knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
  7. Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
