Responsibility

  1. Customer Satisfaction

  2. Regular monitoring and maintenance of electrical system of all stores. Organization Efficiency

  3. Standby for electrical breakdown and shutdown

  4. On call for all electrical breakdown.

  5. All the drawings must fulfil the ST procedure and electrical devices must be in a good condition with periodically servicing and calibration.
  6. Operation and maintenance of the 33 kV, 11kV and 415V electrical system.
  7. Daily inspection on the electrical main switch board (LV, HT & Transformer).
  8. Handle Electrical consultant inspection & update status on electric supply condition.
  9. To ensure building electrical is maintained effectively and comply with Energy Commission requirement.
  10. To ensure that substation equipment installations are executed in such a manner that meets the quality specified as well as safety and health requirements.
  11. To ensure that installations comply to latest Energy Commission of Malaysia (Suruhanjaya Tenaga)
  12. Plan and oversee building facilitation of works & projects.

  13. Plan and carryout building maintenance work or renovations.

  17. Ensure budget for maintenance is followed..

  18. Standby for major breakdowns and emergencies.
  19. Ensure that all electrical services are serviceable and M&E room always clean & tidy at all times.
  20. Plan, organize and implement a comprehensive program (including both corrective, condition & preventive activities) to ensure smooth operation all mechanical and electrical installation.
  21. Responsible to Register their Competency Qualification with Suruhanjaya Tenaga and ensure all electrical system in good condition.
  22. To ensure maximum security and safety for all M&E and Gas operations and to minimize interruption.
  23. To ensure all documentation for servicing and repairing was completed as per schedule.
  24. To establish and implement tools stock card and carry out inspection.
  25. To act as a Gas Responsible Person (OB), if appointed and send to attend GRP course by Aeon Co.(M) Bhd.
  26. To carry out daily inspection and monitoring for HT & LV switchboards, bus-ducts, transformers, switchgears and TNB/SESCO supply.
  27. Develop short- and long-term building maintenance plan.
  28. To assist maintenance work when necessary as such as :
  29. Carry out schedule inspections and testing of standby Generator (Free Load & On Load), Fire pumps, Sump pumps and etc.
  30. Carry out in-house electrical works including maintenance, inspection and testing as assigned by the management.
  31. Develop and maintain records and reports such as equipment and supplies inventories, damage/defect reports, preventive maintenance and repair records.
  32. Liaise with relevant Authorities and vendors to ensure compliance of the applicable laws, including OSHA/EIA Act, DOSH, Suruhanjaya Tenaga, Electrical Inspectorate Unit, BOMBA and other regulatory governing bodies.
  33. Able to communicate with building occupants/tenants effectively.
