The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, multi-tasker, and demonstrated team-player. You will be a lead developer responsible for the development of new software products and enhancements to existing products. You should excel in working with large-scale applications and frameworks and have outstanding communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

Architecture and design
:

  • Design and implement M365 security architectures, often integrating cloud-native tools like Defender, Purview, and Entra ID with on-premises systems.

Security guidance
:

  • Act as a subject matter expert to provide architectural guidance, best practices, and strategic direction on M365 security to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Deployment and implementation
:

  • Oversee the deployment and implementation of security solutions, ensuring scalability and alignment with security and compliance goals.

Threat management
:

  • Guide the use of M365 security tools to detect, investigate, and respond to threats across endpoints, identities, and applications.

Policy and governance
:

  • Develop security policies, governance frameworks, and deployment best practices for secure M365 operations.

Stakeholder collaboration
:

  • Work closely with IT teams, business units, and other stakeholders to align security strategies with business objectives and requirements.

Technical expertise
:

  • Provide hands-on support for complex technical challenges and assist in incident response architecture.

Required qualifications

  • Extensive enterprise-level experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure security architecture and implementation.

  • Deep expertise in the Microsoft Defender suite, particularly at least two of the following: Defender for Cloud, Defender for Cloud Apps (CASB), or Microsoft Purview.

  • Familiarity with other M365 security components such as Microsoft Defender for Identity and Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) is often preferred.

  • Experience with designing and deploying scalable security solutions within Microsoft 365 environments.

  • Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
