The APAC Payroll Specialist is responsible for the end-to-end processing of payrolls, ensuring timely and accurate payrolls in line with country legislation and company policy. You'll be responsible for maintaining precise payroll records, reconciling reports, submitting statutory declarations, and supporting compliance and internal audits.

This position reports to the APAC Payroll Manager and is part of the Payroll department located in Malaysia and will be remote.

This position is being offered through Pall, a Danaher group company providing services in Malaysia to beneficiary Cytiva.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing across all pay cycles, in compliance with local regulations and company policies.

• Implement payroll reporting metrics to support operational transparency and resolve employee queries efficiently.

• Collaborate with finance to secure payroll funding and lead compliance audits to uphold process integrity.

• Define, document, and maintain payroll policies, practices, and reporting standards.

• Manage vendor transitions and streamline payroll processes for improved efficiency and accuracy.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• 6 yrs Experience in APAC Payroll processing with regulatory expertise.

• Experience in end-to-end payroll processing, policy reviews, including analyzing processes and controls, planning improvements, leading changes, payroll migration and managing priorities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; excellent command of English read/write/speak; good command of Mandarin read/write/speak

• Result oriented, high on initiative with a need to deliver on time; willing to learn and assist others

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Strong payroll technical expertise.

• Demonstrates commitment to excellence and proactive problem-solving
