About the Company:

Internship Role Overview:

We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Intern to join our team. This internship is ideal for students seeking hands-on experience in tax processes and exposure to real client cases in a professional setting.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Handle the full cycle of tax computation preparation and filing for both business entities and individual clients.
  • Handle all necessary communication with the Inland Revenue Board (IRB) and applicable government agencies for the purpose of resolving tax conflicts.
  • Ensure the correct filing and secure retention of all tax documents and related records.
  • Help ensure the tax database is efficiently managed and properly maintained.
  • Provide assistance to the Tax Manager on ad-hoc projects and carry out other assigned duties when necessary.

What We're Looking For:

  • Currently enrolled in a Degree program in Accountancy, Taxation, or a related field.
  • A good understanding of the Malaysian Income Tax Act is required.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Mandarin proficiency is a distinct advantage, as the role requires communication with clients.
  • Possesses strong organizational skills and pays close attention to detail.
