About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Machine Technician to join our team at Steel Centre (M) Sdn Bhd, based in Senai, Johor. As a full-time Machine Technician, you will be responsible for the Set up, test and operate machine to produce finished product.This is a crucial role that will directly contribute to the efficiency and productivity of our operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Cooperate with team members to operate the machines effectively.
  • Conduct routine inspections for machines, equipment and tools.
  • Perform machine set up.
  • Prepare raw material for the machine operation.
  • Ensure necessary tools, equipment, packing materials are ready.
  • Act as Line QC and collaborate with QA to control product quality.
  • Operate the machine as per instructions.
  • Complete production records/forms/checklists.
  • Follow work instructions and safety procedures at all times.
  • Maintain workplace housekeeping.
  • Assist in maintaining the machines in good working condition.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the superiors.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum SPMor a related field
  • Minimum 1 year of experience
  • Good communication and collaboration skills to liaise with the production team
  • Commitment to workplace health and safety protocols
