VISITING FACULTY PLACEMENT @FACULTY PROGRAM, MINISTRY OF HIGHER EDUCATION MALAYSIA

Job Description

This is a special position for lecturers, senior lecturers and associate professors participating in the Industrial Attachment Assignment @ Faculty Program, Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia.

Successful candidate shall be working closely with experienced and senior Altera leaders.

Candidate shall take up a placement in Altera Malaysia for six (6) months on a full-time basis. This provides an opportunity to observe and learn the operations of Altera to prepare themselves as future leaders for strategic positions back in the in university.

Main Objectives of the Industrial Attachment Programme

a) Provide industry exposure to lecturers and faculty members
b) Gain experience and knowledge through personal mentoring
c) Develop an inclusive and comprehensive role in driving high-impact industry-university collaboration
d) Instill efficient work ethics among faculty members, strengthening work culture towards corporate excellence

Responsibilities of Participants:

  • Be competitive, creative, and able to work individually and in teams.
  • Learn negotiation, networking, and leadership skills from Altera leaders.
  • Participate in planning and executing projects (if applicable).
  • Commit fully to the programme
