About the role

We are seeking a talented Fullstack Java Consultant to join our dynamic team at DJava Factory Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-time role that will see you play a key part in the development and delivery of cutting-edge Java-based software solutions for our diverse range of clients. As a Fullstack Java Consultant, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing and deployment.

What you'll be doing

  • Design, develop and maintain high-quality Java-based applications and services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Write clean, well-documented code that adheres to best practices and industry standards
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure the codebase remains robust and maintainable
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues, optimising performance and scalability
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Java technologies, frameworks and industry trends
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and practices

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Java development, with exposure to full-stack web development
  • Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture and RESTful API design
  • Familiarity with SQL databases, NoSQL databases, and message queuing systems
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies and tools
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Passion for technology and a keen interest in staying up-to-date with industry trends
