. Import and Export Documentation

• Prepare, review, and submit all required import/export documents including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading/air waybills, certificates of origin, permits, and customs declarations.
• Ensure accuracy of HS codes, duty calculations, and compliance with customs regulations.

2. Customs Clearance Coordination

• Manage end-to-end customs clearance for both import and export shipments.
• Liaise with customs officers for inspections, approvals, and release processes.

3. Coordination with Shipping Lines, Airlines, and Forwarders

• Arrange vessel or flight bookings and monitor ETD/ETA schedules.
• Coordinate container pick-up, return, and port-related activities.
• Communicate with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and port operators to ensure smooth cargo flow.

4. Logistics and Transportation Arrangement

• Schedule and coordinate transportation such as trucks, trailers, and warehouse handling.
• Oversee loading, unloading, and delivery arrangements as required.

5. Customer Communication and Support

• Provide timely shipment updates to customers.
• Attend to inquiries, resolve shipment issues, and ensure customer requirements are met.

6. Billing, Costing, and Documentation Control

• Prepare quotations, freight cost analysis, billing documentation, and invoices.
• Verify port charges, freight charges, and track payment status where necessary.

7. Compliance and Record Management

• Ensure all forwarding and shipping activities comply with company SOPs, customs regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and documents for audit and internal reporting.

Job Type: Internship

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: RM RM1,000.00 per month

• Pasir Gudang: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
