Job Purpose

  • Responsible for assisting the Supervisor in performing Certificate Management functions (Surrender, Partial Withdrawal, Free Look, Valuation, etc.).
  • Assist the Supervisor in implementing the Operations strategy to support the company's goals.
  • Support the Supervisor/Head of Customer Service in achieving the operational and performance goals of the department.

Job Description:

  • Process all Customer Service requests timely and efficiently within the TAT.
  • Ensure tasks and cases assigned are processed in full compliance with BNM regulations, MTA guidelines, company policies, and the Takaful Act.
  • Support the Supervisor/Head of Customer Service in implementing GETB Takaful certificate rules in line with Takaful principles and good governance.
  • Assist the Supervisor/Head in developing, tracking, and managing the performance of Customer Service requests, and contribute to process improvement.
  • Respond to GETCORP, Ops Help Desk, Partnerships, and Agents within the TAT.
  • Support the Operations Team in inquiries, requirement gathering, and testing related to enhancements, defect resolutions, and new product launches.
  • Ensure all reports are prepared and submitted within the stipulated timeframe.
  • Maintain accurate timesheet records: (a) Keep a record of work hours, including date, start/end time, and task descriptions. (b) Use a timesheet template to stay organized and ensure completeness. (c) Review entries carefully for accuracy. (d) Communicate with your Supervisor regarding any timesheet-related concerns.
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and exercise due diligence to ensure tasks are performed accurately and efficiently, minimising operational risks.
  • Manage backlog cases effectively by prioritising tasks to meet deadlines and maintain productivity.
  • Strive to meet daily targets set by your superior through efficient task management.
  • Maintain open communication with your Superior/Manager/HOD regarding progress and challenges.
  • Demonstrate full commitment and maintain a good attendance record by managing responsibilities and time effectively.
  • Perform other ad hoc tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.
  • Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
  • Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
  • Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.

  • Fresh graduate with a Bachelor's Degree from any local or foreign higher learning institution recognised by the Government of Malaysia.
  • Proficiency in oral and written communication skills in English and Bahasa.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Strong team player.
  • Preference will be given to graduates with no prior working experience who are currently unemployed.
  • High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.
  • Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.
