Assistant Finance Manager, Group Reporting

The Assistant Manager - Group Reporting will be an integral part of the Accounting and Finance team at Heng Hup Metal Sdn Bhd. This is a key contributor who will oversee Group Consolidation and who will ensure the timely delivery of complete and accurate group financial data to relevant stakeholders. This role is capable of multitasking and adhering to internal or external operational and financial deadlines. The candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar qualifications ( e.g. ACCA, CPA, MIA), a minimum of 5-6 years of accounting experience including minimum 2 years of group consolidation experience, and a keen interest in process improvements using technology. The successful candidate must be highly organized, details oriented and possess strong communication and analytical skills. Working location at Oasis Square, Ara Damansara, Selangor.
Responsibilities
- Handle the Group consolidation, financial reporting and analysis in line with published deadlines based on IFRS and the disclosure requirements of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities of the Hong Kong Exchange and Clearing Limited (HKEX)
- Maintain the Group's Chart of Accounts and ensure standardization of definition across all subsidiaries
- Prepare quarterly reports, interim report and annual report for Hong Kong Exchange and Clearing Limited (HKEX)
- To assist and provide analytical support to evaluate and improve business performance and potential growth of the company
- Coordinate and prepare annual Budget and Forecasting
- Well-versed in budgeting and reporting techniques, cost & financial analysis, forecasting and strategic financial planning
- Identify financial risks and highlight them to management to mitigate the risks
- Assist in resolving problems occurring in ERP system, liaise with IT team and external system provider to resolve the issues
- Support relationship with Group and local auditors
- Support Covenant and other compliance reporting in line with required deadlines
- Any ad hoc task that is appointed by immediate superior
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related professional or financial qualifications.
- Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or MIA membership or equivalent (is preferred).
- Minimum five (5) years' of relevant working experience including minimum 2 years of group consolidation experience.
- Audit experience is an added advantage.
- Experience with ERP system is preferable.

- Mature, responsible, resourceful and able to perform with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in accounting and financial software and advanced skills in MS Office, especially Excel, Power Point, etc.
- Good stakeholder management skill with the ability to support/guide and influence multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM7, RM9,000.00 per month
