AUTHORITIES

Back End Programmer responsible for developing server-side logic, databases, and APIs to power web applications, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security. Work closely with front-end developers, UI/UX designers, and other team members to deliver robust and efficient solutions that meet the needs of users and business requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Server-Side Development

  2. Building and maintaining server-side applications using programming languages such as Python, Java, Ruby, PHP, or

  3. Implementing server-side logic to handle requests and responses.

  4. Database Management

  5. Designing and maintaining databases, including creating tables, defining relationships, and optimizing database queries.

  6. Using relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).

  7. Data Security

  8. Implementing security measures to protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access.

  9. Handling user authentication and authorization processes.

  10. Server Configuration and Optimization

  11. Configuring and optimizing server environments to ensure optimal performance and scalability.

  12. Monitoring server resources and addressing issues as they arise.

  13. Middleware Integration

  14. Integrating and working with middleware components that connect different systems or software applications.

  15. Code Architecture and Structure

  16. Designing and implementing the overall architecture of the back-end system.

  17. Organizing code for maintainability and scalability.

  18. Version Control

  19. Using version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage and track changes to the back-end codebase.

  20. Collaborating with team members through version control workflows.

  21. Collaboration with Front-End Teams

  22. Collaborating with front-end developers and UI/UX designers to integrate server-side logic with the user interface.

  23. Communicating effectively to ensure seamless integration between the front-end and back-end.

  24. Scalability Planning

  25. Planning for and implementing solutions that allow the application to scale as user demand increases.

  26. Identifying and addressing potential bottlenecks.

  27. Testing and Debugging

  28. Conducting thorough testing of back-end code to identify and address bugs or issues.

  29. Debugging and troubleshooting problems to ensure the overall functionality of the application.

  30. Performance Optimization

  31. Optimizing the performance of back-end systems to ensure efficient data processing and response times.

  32. Continuous Learning

  33. Keeping up-to-date with the latest back-end technologies, frameworks, and best practices.

  34. Incorporating new tools and techniques into development workflows.

  35. Documentation

  36. Creating and maintaining documentation for back-end code, APIs, and system architecture.

  37. Providing clear documentation for other developers and team members.

  38. Code Reviews

  39. Participating in code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and knowledge sharing within the development team.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proficiency in back-end programming languages such as Java, Python, Ruby, , or similar.
  • Strong understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and experience with database design and optimization.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Understanding of security principles and best practices in web development.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
