Position: Mechanical Design Engineer

We're looking for a mechanically creative and detail-driven engineer to join our expanding design team. The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of mechanical principles and enjoys transforming ideas into practical, manufacturable solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical and structural design for wastewater and industrial equipment.
  • Conduct engineering calculations (structural strength, torque, load, power transmission).
  • Analyze and test new product designs for performance, durability, and safety.
  • Prepare shop drawings and fabrication drawings for manufacturing and client submission.
  • Generate design calculation reports for consultant or client approval.
  • Collaborate with project, production, and electrical teams for accurate integration.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and standardization of TSC product designs.
  • Liaise with suppliers to verify material and component specifications.

Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Solid understanding of mechanical design, structural analysis, and machine components.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD / SolidWorks / BIM or equivalent 3D software.
  • Knowledge of BS/EN or ASME standards is an advantage.
  • Able to perform basic stress, torque, and power calculations independently.
  • Proficient in English and Mandarin (to liaise with China-based principals).
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to learn new technologies.
  • Having a background in Water & Sewage, Industrial Air, IWK, SPAN, or Air Selangor is an advantage.
  • Fresh graduates with strong design foundation are encouraged to apply.
