IT Officer
Job Responsibilities:
· Manage and execute day-to-day IT administration, development & operational support
· Manage and administer end-to-end of systems, application and database, as per the business requirement
· Perform troubleshooting of hardware, software and network of the organisation.
· To provide helpdesk and system support to users.
· Provide orientation to new users of existing technology.
· Handle overall project management and project schedule.
· Plans, organizes and controls the activities of team members. Provides guidance and training to staff providing a fully cross-trained team. Researches and evaluates alternative approaches and recommend efficient and cost-effective solutions.
· Provide support for in-house application system and software upgrading that includes installation, configuration and trouble -shooting of application system problems.
· Provide maintenance and system support for in-house system, HR software, CCTV, door access and time attendance system.
· Responds to and resolves incidents and requests for assistance with end-user systems while providing a superior customer support experience
· Liaise with vendor for hardware and software support.
· Maintain current and accurate inventory of technology hardware, software and resources.
· Manage IT equipment, assets and software licensing.
· Understand users' requirements & workflows to implement new IT initiatives to meet growing business needs
· Handle on system enhancements, defect fixing and other projects.
· Maintaining project timeframes, budgeting estimates and status reports.
· Prepare monthly, yearly and ad-hoc report when required.
· Keeps the Management informed by preparing reports; making presentations; interpreting information; making recommendations.
· To perform and assist in other ad hoc task, duties, projects and activities as assigned by the Management.
Job Requirement:
· Minimum Diploma/Degree qualification in Computer Science, IT or related field.
· Minimum of 2 years of experience in related field.
· Strong User engagement and communication skills
· Required languages : BM, English & Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
· Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Resourceful, result-oriented and work well under pressure.
· Have strong planning and negotiation skills in addition to good interpersonal skills with capability to be a team builder as well as a team player.
· Good communication and interpersonal skills with ability to interact with people at all levels.
· Ability to work independently.
· Possess own transport and willing to travel outstation when require
