About the role

Ideal Capital Venture Sdn Bhd, a prominent homegrown property developer who position ourselves as legacy creator with a diverse portfolio of on-going projects in Bayan Lepas, Penang, is seeking an IT Assistant to join our team for providing IT support and assistance to our employees, ensuring the smooth operation of our technology systems and infrastructure.

What you'll be doing

1. Providing first-line IT support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related issues

  1. Setting up and configuring new user accounts, devices, and software applications

  2. Assisting with the maintenance and monitoring of our IT systems and infrastructure

  3. Implementing security measures to protect our data and systems

  4. Documenting IT-related procedures and providing training to staff as needed

  5. Collaborating with the IT team to identify and address any technology-related challenges

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar IT support or assistant role

  2. Strong technical skills with a good understanding of computer hardware, software, and networks

  3. Good problem-solving and analytical skills to quickly identify and resolve IT-related issues

  4. Excellent communication and customer service skills to effectively assist employees

  5. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

  6. Familiarity with common IT tools and software, such as Microsoft Office, email, and ticketing systems

  7. Relevant IT certifications or qualifications would be an advantage
