About the role

As an Audit Assistant at CS TAX INTELLIGENCE SDN BHD, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Audit team in conducting external audits for a diverse range of clients. This full-time position is based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

What you'll be doing

· Performing audit procedures, including document reviews, analytical procedures, and substantive testing

· Assisting with the preparation of audit working papers and other documentation

· Supporting the team in completing audit engagements within set timelines and budgets

· Identifying and escalating any potential issues or risks during the audit process

· Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and files

What we're looking for

  1. Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  2. 1-3 years of experience in a similar Audit Assistant or Junior Auditor role, preferably in an external audit environment. Fresh graduates can apply as well.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address discrepancies
  4. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
  6. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
  7. Familiarity with accounting principles and auditing standards
