Job Description :

1) New Product Development

Received instructions from superior, Collect and gather data, Analyse the data, Conduct feasibility study, Prepare the feasibility study report, Submit to Eng and R&D Manager, Discuss with Manager, Order parts from PMU, Follow up with supplier until parts received.

2) Project Kick Off

Gather and compile the suggestions, Modify the components if required, Analyse technical data.

3) Drawing

Receive concept design from Consultant, MD & Manager, Get product code from Manager, Check for common data from server, Design the sketch drawing using SOLIDWORKS, Discuss with Consultant, Modify if required, Print the drawing, Submit to Manager, File the original drawing.

4) Prepare Ga Drawing

Receive tender documents from Manager, Discuss with Manager, Redesign the drawing, Submit to Manager for approval, Modify is required, Submit approved drawing to Sales Dept./ Manager, Filing.

5) Bill Of Materials

Receive instruction from Manager, Gather & compile data, Check the units, Key in the standard format, Finalised with respective engineers, Submit to Manager & MD for approval, Modify if required, Submit to Document Controller.

6) Prototype

Conduct parts inspections, Fill up inspections form, Submit to Manager for approval, Modify the parts if required, Return the parts to suppliers if required, Assemble the parts, Conduct mechanical testing under Consultant supervision, Trouble shoot if required, Fill up testing form, Submit to Consultant, Manager and MD for approval, Filing.

7) Parts Inspection

Receive parts, Conduct parts inspections, Check every details of the parts, Inform Consultant and Manager on parts defect, Receive instructions from Consultant/Manager to modify parts or contact suppliers, Modify the parts, Return the parts to suppliers if required, Follow up with suppliers, Receive Replaced parts from suppliers.

8)Prototype / Product Assembly

Gather inspected parts, Assemble parts accordingly, Call HOS & Consultant for verification, Modify if required, Conduct testing, Fill up testing form, Inform HOS on the testing results, Trouble shoot if required, Print electrical report, Submit to HOS for approval, Filing.

9) Parts Approval

Receive parts inspection list/log book from Procurement Department, Receive list/ log book from Procurement Department, Conduct parts inspections, Fill up parts inspections form, Submit to Manager for approval, Send defect parts to Procurement Department for replacement, Send inspection sheets to Production Dept., Filing.

10) Conduct Testing

Receive testing schedule from Manager, Prepare products specification, Conduct testing using BTA (Breaker Testing Analyzer), Make adjustment If required, Print report, Submit report to Manager, Receive feedback from Manager, Repeat testing if required, Print Report, Submit to Manager for approval, Filing.

11) Compile Documents and Drawings

Gather and compile approved drawing, Prepare Document Control Note (DCN), Submit to Manager for verification, Submit to MD for approval, Submit to Document Controller, Revise drawing if required with proper revision number, Receive a copy of drawing from Document Controller, Filing.

12) Conduct Product Training

Receive instruction from Manager, Prepare training memo and schedule, Submit to Manager & Manager Production Department for approval, Conduct the training as per schedule, Provide guidance if needed, Filling.

13) Proposal for Quality Improvement

Develop new ideas, Draft and discuss the ideas with Manager, Fill up suggestions Q form, Submit to Manager for approval, Discuss with QA Department, Submit to QA Department, Receive reward from QA department if the proposal is accepted, Filing.

14) Documents for Tender (Awarded)

Received instruction from Manager, Prepare drawing & schedule, Submit to Manager for verification, Modify if required, Prepare PR, Submit to Manager for approval, Submit to Procurement Department, Receiving inspected sheets, Monitor installation progress, Conduct final checking, Advice to modify if required, Filing.
