Job Description

  • Preparation of financial reports for management's review of monthly financial results, annual budget and quarterly forecasts, and other financial analyses as required by management
  • Well-versed in accounting standards and financial reporting in accordance to IFRS.
  • Manage and oversee daily operations of Finance Department including month-end and year-end period end closings, inventories control, accounts payable and receivable and general ledgers
  • Lead and supervise a team of finance staff to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, in accordance to relevant company and Group SOPs
  • Responsible for management of treasury and credit functions as well as ensuring sufficient liquidity for operational needs and timely settlement of liabilities due
  • Enforce Company's Finance policies and Group policies and procedures
  • Perform tax planning and tax computations
  • Work with the Group's auditor, tax agent, company secretary, etc. to ensure the Group's statutory reporting, submissions, etc. are completed within established deadlines and liaise closely with bankers on funding and end financing facilities
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, licensing and taxation reporting and filing requirements.
  • Initiate process improvement to enhance administrative and departmental operations. Participate and support any ad-hoc functions and related tasks as and when required

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accountancy, Finance or Business, prefer ACCA, CPA,MIA or equivalent holder.
  • At least 5 years in a managerial capacity. Experience in listed company(ies) would be an added advantage
  • Highly independent, able to work under tight schedules and meet expected deadlines
  • Possess good leadership and interpersonal skills and confidence to deal with a range of stakeholders.
  • Excellent spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • High level of commitment and responsibility, good attention to detail
  • Salary: Commensurate with qualification and experience

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM4, RM5,500.00 per month
