1. Helpdesk Support:
- Provide first-line technical support and assistance to end-users regarding IT systems, hardware, software, and applications.
- Log, prioritize, and resolve support requests in a timely manner, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, diagnose problems, and implement solutions to minimize downtime and disruptions.
2. Network Administration:
- Maintain and monitor network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points, to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security.
- Configure and manage network devices, protocols, and services, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN connections.
- Implement security measures, access controls, and network segmentation to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats.
3. Server Management:
- Manage server deployments, configurations, and maintenance tasks, including operating system installations, updates, and patch management.
- Monitor server performance, resource utilization, and system logs to identify and resolve issues proactively.
- Administer server virtualization platforms, such as VMware or Hyper-V, to optimize resource allocation and scalability.
4. Security and Compliance:
- Enforce IT security policies, procedures, and best practices to protect sensitive information, prevent data breaches, and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and mitigate potential risks and vulnerabilities.
- Implement and manage security controls, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), antivirus software, and encryption technologies.
5. Backup and Disaster Recovery:
- Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans (DRPs) to safeguard critical data, applications, and systems from loss or corruption.
- Perform regular backups, data replication, and offsite storage to ensure data integrity and availability in the event of hardware failures, cyber attacks, or natural disasters.
- Test and validate disaster recovery procedures through drills and simulations to verify readiness and effectiveness.
Qualification/Experiences/Skills/Competencies and other Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven experience in IT support, network administration, and system management roles.
- Strong technical knowledge of IT systems, hardware, software, and networking technologies.
- Familiarity with industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to IT security and compliance.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Preferably Entry Level specialized in IT/Computer/Communication or equivalent.
- Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply.
Special technical Skills & Technical Competencies:
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft MCSA, CISSP) are desirable but not mandatory.
- Willingness to stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in the field of information technology.
