Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our infrastructure and operations team. The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for deploying, configuring, maintaining, and managing cloud infrastructure environments including Cloud, Backup & Disaster Recovery (BDRaaS), and Virtual Private Server (VPS) services. This role involves hands-on work with both Windows and Linux systems, ensuring the stability, scalability, and security of cloud and on-premises infrastructures supporting business and customer workloads.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, including compute, storage, and network components.
• Manage and maintain backup storage systems and disaster recovery services.
• Administer and support virtualization platforms (KVM, OpenVZ, Hyper-V, etc.) for private and public environments.
• Perform system administration tasks for Linux and Windows servers — including patching, tuning, and hardening.
• Provide technical support and assistance to clients for cloud, backup, virtualization (VPS), and dedicated server environments.
• Monitor and conduct audits on cloud and backup services to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance.
• Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and service optimization initiatives.
• Collaborate with network, security, and development teams to maintain a secure and efficient infrastructure ecosystem.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience managing Cloud infrastructure environments (private or public such as AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.).
• Strong proficiency in Linux and Windows system administration, including kernel tuning, security (SSH, firewall, SELinux), and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (KVM, OpenVZ, Hyper-V, etc.).
• Good understanding of networking concepts — routing, NAT, VLANs, firewalls, TCP/IP, and OSI layers.
• Familiarity with scripting and automation (Bash, Python, or equivalent).
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills with the ability to work independently when required.

Advantageous Skills

• Experience with container technologies such as Kubernetes or Docker in private or hybrid environments.
• Exposure to DevOps tools such as Git, CI/CD pipelines, or automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools (Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.) is an added advantage.
