About the role

RCT Power Energy (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd., a leading provider of energy solutions, is seeking an experienced Account Supervisor/Manager to join our dynamic team in Bukit Minyak, Penang. This full-time position will play a crucial role in overseeing the company's financial accounting and reporting processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial information to support strategic decision-making.

What you'll be doing

  • Supervising and managing the daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting
  • Preparing and analysing financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to provide insights and recommendations to the management team
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies
  • Implementing and maintaining effective internal control systems to safeguard the company's assets
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial and operational support for various business initiatives
  • Supervising and mentoring junior accounting staff, fostering their professional development
  • Actively identifying opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency

What we're looking for

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 6+ years of progressive experience in a similar role, preferably in the energy or manufacturing industry
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, and financial reporting standards
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams
  • A team player with a proactive and detail-oriented approach
  • Writing & Speaking in Mandarin is advantages
  • Experience in Export & Import market accounting especially in China/Taiwan/Hong Kong Industrial
