Position Summary: Clinical laboratory administrators are to provide secretarial assistance to support the laboratory operation management. This role mainly oversees the assigned operating sections, especially on clinical report management, document management, general reporting and document filing. Also, works for continuous improvement in the assigned job scope.

Essential Functions:

Day-to-day duties for clinical laboratory administrator vary depending on the laboratory activities and appointed operating sections. However, there are several core tasks associated with this job, including:

  1. Accession daily routine cases and subsequent follow up actions.
  2. Update customer information and maintain relationship with customers.
  3. Support the specimen logistics and subsequent follow up actions.
  4. Maintain laboratory day to day documents, receive telephone calls, attend to visitors, maintains spreadsheets, and filing.
  5. Assist in internal meetings, activities of laboratory team, and special events.
  6. Maintain the document controls listings, create notice and manage memo as necessary.
  7. Assist in reinforcing the need for proper safely methods and arrange for safety training in particular aspects of laboratory work as necessary. To support safety committee.
  8. Collaborate with other colleagues in completing daily duties.
  9. Serves as a supporting role for laboratory team.

Education and Experience:

Diploma's / Bachelor's degree of Science, Management or any related field.Working experience in similar role is preferable.
