Key Responsibilities


• Handle New Product Development (finish product & component level) for new projects


• Handle continuous quality improvement project


• Handle FAI & CPK verification


• Perform assembly line production & inspection fixture verification.


• New Supplier audit & evaluation


• Supplier education & review SQP, PCP, SPC, P-FMEA & WI etc


• Perform product pre-shipment inspection, process audit and annual quality system audit; issue report follow up non-conformities and ensure improvement and closure of deficiencies found in the audit for approved suppliers.


• Handle PSI quality issue and providing 8D SCAR report


• Manage the customer compliant and providing 8D SCAR report on notification of client complaint.


• Handling the new product quality control from the new supplier pre-selection to mass production.


• Communicate with related department to ensure quality requirement are met.


• Conducting weekly, monthly supplier quality performance review in terms of supplier's FPY report, audit issue, customer complaining issue, etc.


• Warranty quality issue handling/RMA (root cause analysis and corrective action follow up till closed)


• Work with RE department to follow up & drive related reliability test and related failure analysis for new products of each stage and MP products.


• Periodic audits for supplier facilities/quality system to improve supplier yield, capacity, and the process capability with improvement actions


• Follow up training, coaching and related inspection, audit standard making.

Requirements


•      Degree or above in Mechanical/Electronic & Electrical or related field


•      At least 5 years working experience for supplier quality management, and familiar with Kaizen, FMEA, MSA, SPC, DOE etc. tools.


•      Preferably with 2-3 years working experience from Electrical Driven Machinery manufacturing company, ideally manufacturing of Miter/Table Saw products.


•      Prefer to have quality management experience for Mechanical/Electronic & Electrical finish goods both in NPD & MP.


•      Prefer to have reliability test experience, familiar with design for related reliability test items, condition and FA and report test status, etc.


•      Good English reading, writing and speaking skills.


•      Good communication, and interpersonal skills


•      Able to work independently and pro-actively


•      A self-starter with a 'hands-on' approach


•      Good understanding and rich experience in quality control and quality assurance: 7 QC tool, CPK, DOE, ISO9001, IATF16949, ISO14000 etc.
