About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented CKD kit OTD to join our team at HYUNDAI MANUFACTURING MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. in Kulim, Kedah. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of CKD kits to support our automotive manufacturing operations.

What you'll be doing

  • 1. Delivery Coordination

  • Monitor and track CKD kit shipments to ensure timely arrival.

  • Coordinate with logistics and freight forwarders to avoid delivery delays.

2. Supplier Communication

  • Liaise with CKD suppliers on delivery schedules and lead times.
  • Address supply issues and work with suppliers to meet OTD targets.

3. Inventory Management

  • Track CKD kit inventory to support uninterrupted production.
  • Work with procurement and warehouse teams on incoming stock and contingencies.

4. Performance Tracking

  • Monitor OTD performance and analyze delay trends.
  • Prepare reports and highlight improvement areas.

5. Problem-Solving & Escalation

  • Identify and resolve risks affecting CKD delivery timelines.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and escalate major issues as needed.

6. Process Improvement

  • Recommend and support enhancements to delivery, logistics, and supplier processes.
  • Assist in implementing digital tools for tracking and reporting.

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Experience Minimum 4 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or production planning (preferably in the automotive industry).
  3. Experience in coordinating international shipments and managing suppliers.
  4. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  5. Proficiency in supply chain management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and tracking tools.
  6. Knowledge of logistics processes, and import/export regulations.
  7. Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  8. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for supplier and team coordination.
