About the role

SWIZZLEFOOD INDUSTRIES SDN BHD' is seeking a skilled Technician to join our dynamic team in Ulu Tiram Johor. As a Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing our state-of-the-art production equipment, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our manufacturing processes. What you'll be doing

  1. Performing scheduled preventive maintenance on production equipment to minimise downtime and optimise performance
  2. Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with machinery, using specialised tools and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve problems
  3. Carrying out repairs and replacements of faulty components, following standard operating procedures and safety protocols
  4. Maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and repair work
  5. Collaborating with the production team to ensure seamless integration between maintenance and operations
  6. Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and reliability of our manufacturing processes

What we're looking for

  1. Relevant technical certification or diploma in a related field, such as Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  2. Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Technician or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
  3. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues
  4. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documentation, schematics, and manuals
  5. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship
  6. A team-oriented mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  7. Familiarity with safety protocols and the ability to work in a safe and responsible manner
