Role and Responsibilities

The Coordinator, Audio & Licensing is responsible for audio programming, licensing and reporting (AOD, Boarding Music, Radio Shows, On Demand Playlists, Podcasts, Audiobooks, & Music videos) across Stellar's airline clients, whilst maintaining strong relationships with our label, distributor, publisher and collection society partners. The Coordinator will work closely with internal client service, operations and production teams based in Los Angeles, Singapore, Sydney and Kuala Lumpur to ensure that programming deadlines are met, and that programming meets client's briefs, budgets and expectations. The Coordinator will also ensure accurate reporting is maintained and sent to our partners.

Responsibilities include

  • Programming, producing and Qc'ing AOD, Boarding Music, Radio Shows, On Demand Playlists, Podcasts, Audiobooks and Music Videos across Stellar's airline clients.
  • Strong Knowledge of music across all genres, with a focus on Mando-Pop, Tai-Pop, Russian Pop and Kazakh Pop.
  • The ability to speak Russian and read and write in Russian is mandatory. The ability to speak and read and write in Kazakh is strongly preferred as well. Russian language is a mandatory requirement,

  • Coordinate accurate monthly music reports for Stellar's music partners.
  • Coordinate DDEX database, ensuring that content is accurately programmed across Stellar's airline clients from both a territory and rights perspective.
  • Maintain strong relationships with our label, distributor, publisher and collection society partners, particularly in Russia & Kazakhstan
  • Gathering and reporting on market intelligence covering new developments in the inflight entertainment and digital audio landscape.
  • Creating audio strategies for our airline clients and prospective clients, in line with their brand guidelines and budget.
  • Working with Stellar's internal software development team to identify and design improvements to our in-house DDEX and digital asset management systems.
  • Coordinating image and audio assets for Stellar's internal production department.
