Job Responsibilities

  • To develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule based on sales forecast, inventory levels, and production capacity.
  • To identify bottlenecks , delays, or quality issues in the production process.
  • To perform planning, prepare schedule for production lines and coordinate production workflow for one or multiple parts.
  • To perform production scheduling in PAC Portal system.
  • To plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay of output.
  • To follow up issues of quality or delivery with department supervisors when issues arise with the aim to minimize disruption.
  • To obtain output information e.g. number or finished parts and percentage of defectives parts.
  • To collaborate with OQA, IQC, Store, Production and other supporting functions to accomplish assignments of jobs.
  • To provide management with timely updates on customer forecast KPIs and On Time Delivery (OTD) performance.
  • To communicate with customer's buyers for any ETA matters and update customers the new ETA with reasons of delay on a timely basis.
  • To ensure that documentation is filled in an orderly manner and is easily retrievable when required.
  • To perform any other duties assigned by supervisor or manager from time to time.     

Requirements
- Candidates must possess at least a Diploma/ Degree in Business Management/ Supply Chain Management or an equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field is required, preferably within the metal fabrication manufacturing industry.
- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication skills.
- Strong understanding of production flow, capacity planning, and inventory management.
