We are seeking a Production Printing Intern at Nilai Apparel Gift & Souvenir. The job scope of a production team at a clothing printing factory typically involves various tasks related to the manufacturing process of clothing items with printed designs. Responsibilities:

  • Production Planning: Collaborating with management to develop production schedules and plans to meet customer demand and deadlines. This includes prioritizing orders, allocating resources, and ensuring efficient workflow.
  • Material Preparation: Overseeing the procurement and preparation of materials needed for printing, such as fabrics, inks, screens, and other printing supplies. This may involve coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality control.
  • Printing Process: Operating printing equipment such as screen printing machines, digital printers, heat presses, or other specialized machinery to apply designs onto clothing items. Monitoring the printing process to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality standards are met.
  • Quality Control: Inspecting printed garments for defects, errors, or inconsistencies in design, color, or print placement. Identifying and troubleshooting issues to maintain high-quality standards throughout the production process.
  • Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Performing routine maintenance tasks on printing equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns. Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions or technical problems as they arise to minimize downtime.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and best practices to maintain a safe working environment for all team members. Implementing safety protocols, conducting regular safety inspections, and addressing any safety concerns promptly.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Liaising with other departments such as sales, customer service, and shipping to coordinate production schedules, address customer inquiries, and ensure timely order fulfillment. Collaborating with colleagues to troubleshoot problems and implement process improvements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and quality enhancement within the production workflow. Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and implementing best practices to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
