Key Responsibilities

A. Machine Operation & Production

  • Set up and operate CNC/NC bending machines according to job specifications.
  • Interpret technical drawings and bending programs for accurate production.
  • Ensure production output meets required dimensions, tolerances, and quality standards.
  • Plan and organize daily bending tasks to meet production schedules.

B. Team Leadership

  • Lead and supervise bending operators and helpers on the shop floor.
  • Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide guidance to team members.
  • Conduct on-the-job training for new operators and ensure competency development.
  • Enforce compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).

C. Quality Assurance

  • Perform in-process and final inspections of bent parts.
  • Identify and troubleshoot quality or dimensional issues.
  • Work with QA to resolve product nonconformities and implement corrective actions.

D. Maintenance & Equipment Handling

  • Conduct daily machine inspections and basic preventive maintenance.
  • Ensure proper care, storage, and handling of tooling and bending dies.
  • Report machine breakdowns or abnormalities to the maintenance team immediately.

E. Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure all workers follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area (5S).
  • Support safety audits and compliance with company and regulatory requirements.

F. Documentation & Reporting

  • Update daily production records, output reports, and machine downtime logs.
  • Report material usage, wastage, and any process deviations.
  • Assist in continuous improvement projects (Kaizen, Lean practices).

3. Job RequirementsEducation & Experience

  • Minimum SPM / Certificate in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or related field.
  • At least 2–5 years of experience in metal bending operations.
  • Prior experience operating CNC/NC bending machines is required.
  • Supervisory or team–leading experience is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of bending techniques, tooling, and machine settings.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring tools (calipers, protractors, gauges).
  • Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

4. Working Conditions

  • Manufacturing or fabrication environment.
  • Shift work may be required depending on production needs.
  • Exposure to machinery, noise, and metalworking processes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3, RM4,500.00 per month
