About the Role

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Senior Interior Designer to join our dynamic design team based in KL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the entire design process — from concept development to project execution — ensuring that each project reflects our brand identity and exceeds client expectations.

You will collaborate closely with clients, project teams, and suppliers to deliver functional, aesthetic, and innovative design solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the conceptualization, design development, and presentation of interior design projects.
  • Translate client requirements into creative design solutions that align with project objectives.
  • Oversee the preparation of AutoCAD drawings, 3D renderings, material boards, and documentation.
  • Manage and coordinate project timelines, budgets, and design deliverables.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Conduct site visits and provide technical guidance to ensure design accuracy and quality implementation.
  • Stay updated with design trends, materials, and industry standards.
  • Supervise and mentor junior designers, ensuring quality and consistency in all deliverables.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in interior design or design & build industry.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, V-Ray, and other design software.
  • Strong project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Fluent in Mandarin (to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients and vendors).
  • Passionate, resourceful, and detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM5, RM6,000.00 per month
