NettSys is a reliable full-stack development company and a certified Microsoft Application Development Partner. We specialize in building critical business applications, including distributed web, cloud-based, and mobile solutions for a diverse range of clients.

We are now embarking on an exciting new strategic initiative to integrate Artificial Intelligence into the core of our products and services, and we are looking for a foundational member to lead this charge.

The Role

This is a unique greenfield opportunity to be the first dedicated AI specialist on our team. You will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying the next generation of intelligent features across our application portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and integrate AI-powered features into our applications by leveraging cloud AI platforms (e.g., Azure AI Services, AWS AI, Google AI).
  • Build, train, and deploy custom machine learning models using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc., to solve real-world challenges.
  • Architect and build robust, scalable APIs and microservices to expose AI/ML model functionality to our application stack.
  • Collaborate with developers to establish best practices for AI/ML integration into production systems.
  • Monitor model performance and continuously improve accuracy by incorporating user/officer feedback.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or related technical field.
  • 2–3 years of professional software development experience with strong proficiency in Python.
  • Hands-on experience building and deploying models with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of software architecture principles, RESTful APIs, and data structures.
  • Strong grasp of core AI/ML concepts: classification, regression, neural networks, NLP.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with proven ability to learn quickly.
  • Malaysian citizen with written and spoken proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Other Skills (Preferred but not mandatory)
  • Experience with major cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Familiarity with MLOps tools and practices (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines).
  • Exposure to web development frameworks (.NET, PHP) is an added advantage.
  • Active GitHub portfolio, open-source contributions, or published AI/ML work.
