THE ROLE:

Join AMD's Global Credit Operations team as an intern and immerse yourself in the dynamic world of finance. This team is pivotal in managing the end-to-end cash and credit collection activities, working closely with Corporate Treasury, Global Sales Finance, Regional Finance, and Sales teams. As an intern, you'll gain hands-on experience and professional growth opportunities while contributing to AMD's business expansion. You'll be part of a supportive and innovative environment, interacting with various departments and learning from industry leaders. This internship is ideal for someone eager to learn and make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced setting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform various collection activities to monitor past due and delinquent accounts
• Support the assessment of customer creditworthiness and recommend credit limits.
• Maintain credit control operational process and ensure that controls are in compliance with SOX, internal and external audit requirements
• Able to discern the root cause of problematic accounts and provide resolutions
• Minimize the risk of bad debts and mitigate Company's Credit Risk
• Involvement in reporting and analysis for strategic management decisions.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and familiarity with data analysis.
• Effective communication skills with good spoken and written English. 
• Basic knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA and other ERP systems is a plus.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Accounting or Finance.
• Interest in pursuing professional accounting qualifications is a plus.
