Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management & Reporting
  • Lead and manage the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with MFRS and local statutory requirements.
  • Oversee cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare and analyze Profit & Loss statements across multiple revenue streams (online sales, retail sales, trade sales, co-funding, etc.)
  • Liaise with external auditors and tax agents; prepare and manage annual audits.
  • Supervise the accounting team in areas including AP/AR, GL, payroll, inventory accounting, and reconciliations.
  • Track, verify, and reconcile all payments and settlements received through various sales channels (e-commerce platforms, retail outlets, trade partners, payment gateways, etc.) to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Improve internal controls and accounting procedures for greater accuracy and efficiency.
  • Analyze cost of sales including merchant fees, commissions, promotional costs, and logistics.
  • Provide insight into gross profit margins and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
  • Drive improvements in financial systems, reporting tools, and operational workflows.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Financial Planning and Finance
  • Strong Analytical Skills for financial analysis and reporting
  • Proficient in Financial Reporting processes
  • Excellent Communication skills for effective stakeholder interaction
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred
  • Relevant certifications such as CPA or CFA would be advantageous
