SALES ENGINEER – PLANT LEVEL/AFTER MARKET

Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience

Excellent English Communication, second ASEAN language (Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Malaysia or Thai) is a plus

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering . Technical Diploma/Vocational Education with related industry experience may be considered.

Our KL-office is responsible for the support of all our Far East activities, including Australia and China. Technical support is our key responsibility. Mokveld has an internationally renowned reputation for the manufacture of engineered control valves for severe service applications. Mokveld is also recognized as a system integrator for HIPPS, pipeline surge relief and compressor anti-surge applications.

For the expansion of our KL-office, we are currently looking for a Sales engineer – Plant Level/Aftermarket in a full time position.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Sales Engineer – Plant Level/Aftermarket

The Sales Engineer – Plant Level/Aftermarket will be required to visit enduser current site installations, identify & inventorize possible opportunities (for update, upgrade of Mokveld or replacement competitor valves) advise endusers about Mokveld products and its benefits to their processes, with the aim to build confidence in the product and the solution it offers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Building a relation network with end users.

Creating trust in the Mokveld organization, and our products. Giving advice to these companies about products and applications.

Interpretation of (client) specifications and translating these into opportunities for Mokveld products.

Discuss possible solutions with customer.

Guiding Mokveld project engineers during proposal preparation (list and explain deviations, alternatives and interpretations ) as well as in consultation with the customer and internal Mokveld organization

Following up on proposals made to customers.

Coordinate with project engineers in the pre-award and post-award stage of the projects (if applicable)

Communicate with colleagues in a respectful, constructive, equal manner.
