We're a Healthcare startup founded by MIT alumni, developing a breakthrough diagnostic platform that aims to transform gastrointestinal health monitoring. Our mission is to make early disease detection accessible and equitable starting with a smart IoT device that redefines how diagnostics are done.

We're currently in stealth mode, backed by industry experts in medical technology and engineering.

Position Overview:

As a UI/UX Designer, you will play a pivotal role in designing the user experience for a groundbreaking Smart IOT Product. This product is set to transform the field of gastrointestinal diagnostics, making healthcare more accessible and equitable by offering a non-invasive solution for cancer screening and other medical applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deeply understand the needs, behaviors, and preferences of the end users. Advocate for a user-centric approach to design throughout the product development process.
• Plan and conduct user research, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions. Translate research findings into actionable design solutions.
• Create intuitive and effective information structures and content hierarchies for the digital interfaces of the Smart IOT Product.
• Develop low-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes to visualize and test design concepts. Iterate on designs based on user feedback and usability testing results.
• Create high-fidelity user interfaces that are visually appealing, consistent, and aligned with the brand identity. Ensure the user interface is accessible and usable for a broad audience.
• Design and refine interactive elements, including navigation systems, buttons, and user flows, to optimize the overall user experience.
• Work closely with product managers, engineers, and clinical experts to ensure that user needs are met while adhering to technical constraints and regulatory requirements.
• Plan and conduct usability testing sessions, analyze results, and provide recommendations for improving the user experience.
• Create and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including design specifications, style guides, and user personas.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience Design, or a related field.
• Graduates with strong academic and internship credentials.
• Proficiency in UX design software (e.g., Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD).
• Strong understanding of usability principles and user research methodologies.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and guidelines (e.g., WCAG).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• A passion for designing solutions that positively impact healthcare and equity.
