A leading international data centre developer and operator is seeking an experiencedConstruction Leadto oversee project delivery for large-scale hyperscale and colocation developments in Johor.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate all construction activities across design, engineering, procurement, and project delivery teams.Oversee on-site and off-site works to ensure compliance with project specifications, schedule, quality, and safety standards.Manage contractors, consultants, suppliers, and key stakeholders throughout the full project lifecycle.Review and validate technical design submissions, engineering documentation, and construction drawings.Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and change controls.Conduct risk assessments and evaluate design intent, delivery feasibility, and cost optimisation strategies.Ensure all construction activities adhere to codes, standards, and best practices.Perform regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and contractor performance.Support commissioning, integrated systems testing, and project handover.Lead progress meetings, drive issue resolution, and provide timely reporting to senior management.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Master's degree is an advantage).Professional registration with an engineering council (preferred).Minimum 10 years' experience in MEP engineering, construction management or project delivery.At least 5 years working in a professional MEP or project consultancy environment .Proven experience as a lead design consultant or project manager on data centre or large-scale mission-critical projects (>10MW).Strong understanding of MEP systems, design standards, and construction methodologies for mission-critical infrastructure.
