Position: Project Engineer

Salary Package: RM 2,500 – RM 5,500

Working Location: Taman Perindustrian Tebrau, JB

Company Background: Plastic injection molding service

Working days : 5.5 days / Week (Need to work OT)

Working Hours: 08:00 – 17:00 (Monday – Friday) & 08:00 – 13:00 (Saturday)

Job Descriptions:-

1. NEW INCOMING PROJECT & UP REVISION EXISTING PROJECT HOD will briefly and provide information on new incoming project and up revision project. -

-Study new drawing received. Highlight and follow-up with Customer/Marketing/Planner for uncommon item such as material, packaging and others that related to new incoming project. Prepared new uncommon item ahead before tool transfer and tool testing. Follow for buy-off tool if request by Marketing/HOD. Prepare and share tool buy-off report.

Information on buy-off details will be share by Marketing/HOD. Study and discuss with HOD on packaging for new project once sample received during tool buy-off.

-Study new drawing received and highlight any major change for existing project. Discuss with HOD on submission plan to Customer. Issued and update Engineering Change Notice (ECN) for any change such as in part up revision, part approval, part design, material and others. ECN share to all related department.

2. TOOL TRANSFER AND TOOL TESTING (INTERNAL/EXTERNAL)

-Coordinate with Planner once tool transfer to Plassein. Issued SUMMARY OF TESTING SCHEDULE and material request to Store for new testing.

-Coordinate and follow-up with Production for testing arrangement. Upon receiving tool, record and check tool condition before proceed for tool inspection. All below document must be keep in project file.

-Prepare project file for each new incoming project. Keep all the document received from Customer in project file.

-Coordinate and share Customer parameter and last shot sample to production tester before conduct tool testing. Must highlight if any issued-on Customer parameter and last shot sample to tester example parameter not follow TDS, part have defect and others.

-During testing, coordinated with tester to follow material TDS specification and FTA. Highlight to Customer if found any discrepancy during tool testing for Customer approval.

-Coordinate and follow-up with production tester on sample once start testing. Review the part with Quality if have last shot sample. Sample cosmetic, part weight, short weight and dimension must be update to production tester soonest part inject. Any issued need to highlight and get approval from HOD before procced for sample build/DPAP sample.

-Coordinate with production tester on molding process. Parameter and others requirement must be following during tool testing. Highlight and discuss with HOD if any discrepancy during testing.

-Once part inject out, submit few shots sample (3 shots at least) and coordinated with QC/FA technician for FA report. Dimension must follow drawing specification before procced DPAP sample/sample build.

-Coordinate with production tester to proceed run DPAP sample (30 shots) or sample build once cosmetic appearance and dimension acceptable. Prepare and fill up testing requisition form and report after testing completed.

• Discuss and share parameter to HOD for approval. Parameter must follow material TDS specification/TTNF and FTA during testing.

-For external testing, coordinated with production tester for testing details such as testing duration, tool issued, repair issued if any. Tooling testing requisition must get approval from HOD/Factory Manager before share to Marketing

3. PRODUCTION PART APPROVAL PROCESS (PPAP) REPORT

-Prepare Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) report follow Customer format. (PSW, PFMEA, CP, QSI, MSA, CPK, DIM, MTR, FTR, PTR, AIR, DRMS, TPP) Coordinated and discuss with QC for CP and QSI.

-For CPK, DIM & MSA coordinated and follow-up with FA supervisor for completion schedule. Data must be compiling 2 days after sample pass to FA. Share and submit PPAP package (DSR Cover Page) and PPAP sample to Customer for approval. PPAP sample must be review and verify with QC to avoid Customer rejection.

-Follow-up with Customer for part approval once complete package (PPAP report & PPAP sample) submitted. Ensure all the testing & PPAP preparation is follow time plan schedule provide by Customer/HOD or within 3 working days PPAP package.

-Share information and pass approval sample to DCC/Clerk for record. Approval must be highlight and email to related department.

-Up-revision for existing project must issued ECN after part get approval. ECN must be compiling and filling.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering

-Prefer min. 1- year of plastic injection experience and equivalent to any injection process Willingness to be hands on and work in the field alongside our field technicians' teams.

-Experience using AutoCAD, and others software are a plus.

-Computer literate and Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.

-Must be able to clearly communicate in Bahasa Melayu and English via verbal and written methods, and be comfortable and effective doing so directly to customers and co-workers.

-Local travel may be required depending on the project requirements.

-Able to understand and follow Company processes and procedures.

-Able to form and maintain good relationships internally and externally.

-Strong statistical and reporting skills and able to analyze, interpret and manage information, data and trends Excellent attention to detail skills Results orientated and able to prioritize workload to meet project deadlines
