Job Description

EPH is embarking on an aggressive expansion plan and is looking for an energetic and motivated individual to join the team as an Engineer for our technical division. You will be responsible for installing equipment, testing the system, and conducting regular maintenance checks. You may also be required to install electrical components to enable the system to work properly.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor plantation activities onsite and using our online smart forestry system
• Collect, record and analyze weather and field data using remote sensing
• Provide agronomy advisory and improvement after obtaining and analyzing crop and soil data, including fertilizer regime
• Provide training and support on pest and disease management to plantation workers
• Generate reports and present data to the management
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by the management

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry, Agronomy, Plantation Management or equivalent will be prioritized
• At least 2 years of working experience in plantation or forestry is preferred
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Strong understanding of plant biology, soil science, crop management, precision farming and integrated pest management
• Posses strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
