Job Summary

We're looking for a
JavaScript Web Developer
in
Kuala Lumpur
to build high-quality web applications that support gamers globally. You'll collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver performant, accessible, and user-friendly features. This role involves end-to-end development, from ideation to deployment, in a small, agile team. The reporting manager is based in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, performant web applications.
  • Translate wireframes and mockups into responsive, accessible UI components.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX to ensure a consistent design language.
  • Participate in requirements gathering, scope definition, and sprint planning.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code using modern frontend frameworks.
  • Create and maintain unit tests to ensure reliability and prevent regressions.
  • Participate in code reviews and improve engineering practices.
  • Support CI/CD workflows and deployment processes.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and propose improvements where relevant.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in
    HTML, CSS, JavaScript
    , and frontend design fundamentals.
  • Hands-on experience with
    (2 or 3)
    and component-based architecture.
  • Experience with
    responsive, mobile-first
    development.
  • Familiarity with
    CSS frameworks
    (e.g., Tailwind, Bootstrap) and
    pre-processors
    (SASS/LESS).
  • Experience with
    Vite or Webpack
    build tools.
  • Familiar with
    frontend testing
    (Vitest or Playwright) and writing unit tests.
  • Understanding of
    Git
    , version-control workflows, and
    CI/CD
    pipelines.
  • Basic knowledge of
    SEO
    best practices.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a
    small, agile team
    .
  • Strong communication skills in
    English and Mandarin
    .
  • Bachelor's degree
    in Computer Science or related field.
