JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide technical mentoring and coaching for the automation team (engineers & Technician). 
  • Manage the commissioning and qualification of in house build automation systems as well as develop and ensure compliance with established local quality standards.
  • Develop, maintain, and implement the process automation functional agenda for the site and work with end user during initial planning stage.
  • Ensure function is aligned and driven to meet engineering goals, production requirements and Meets Company set goals (UPH, Cpk, quality, yield, scrap safety and ESD requirements).
  • Function as system owner for exclusive process automation systems assigned.
  • Own and manage site procedures and technical standards for the automation function; 
  • Resolve relatively complex problems independently; 
  • Provide management support for automation contractor personnel & global support.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree or Master's Degree in Engineering – Electronic, Electrical, Mechatronic/Electromechanical), Computer/Telecommunication or equivalent.
  • Familiar with product development process & proven success of releasing products to production
  • Experience working with fiber-optic/laser products.
  • At least 15 years working experience in related industry in mass production manufacturing environment (high volume, high mix) with at least 5 years in managerial role.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, initiative, creative, independent with leadership qualities and able to work under pressure in a challenging environment with strong communication skill.
