Reimagine What's Possible

Air Products' Accounting Center of Excellence (COE) Development Program seeks young professionals eager to advance their careers in accounting and finance. The three-year program is a
Permanent Position
which will provide you an opportunity to rotate among functional accounting teams in the KL Accounting COE, encompassing various aspects of Company's financial reporting process, starting with
Manufacturing Accounting, then followed by Fixed Asset Accounting or GL Accounting
. After 3 years, we will discuss and assign you to the suitable team of your preference. Accounting Analyst will be provided with a pathway to complete their professional accounting qualification as Air Products Shared Services Sdn Bhd is the recognized employer for ACCA and CPA Australia.

Responsibilities Include

  • Monthly accounting close, including posting of journal entries, generating and analyzing reports for the functional account(s).
  • Balance sheet reconciliation and preparation of schedules to support disclosure requirements.
  • Coordination with other finance, business and operation departments to process transactions and review master data.
  • Identify root cause and drive process improvements to rectify errors and process gaps.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance.
  • Min. 3-6 years of work experience in Big 4 Audit Firm, preferably with additional experience in Shared Services.
  • Well-rounded individual with strong academic results and non-academic achievements.
  • Self-motivated team player with effective interpersonal and communication skills, and high ethical standards.
  • Quick learner with a conceptual and analytical mindset. Highly adaptable to various job scopes and changes in facts and circumstances when solving problems.
