Procurement Specialist

Job Description

• Procurement planning: Develop purchasing strategies and plans based on production schedules, sales forecasts, and inventory levels to ensure continuity of supply without overstocking.
• Purchase order processing: Create, process, and track purchase orders (POs) for raw materials, sub-assemblies, and finished goods, ensuring timely deliveries and correct receipt of items.
• Inventory control: Monitor and manage inventory levels to maintain an optimal supply of materials, preventing both shortages that could halt production and excess stock that ties up capital.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Liaise with other departments, such as Production & Procurement HQ ( Senior Manager ) to ensure procurement activities are aligned with overall company objectives and that purchasing needs are met.
• Quality assurance: Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure that all purchased materials meet the company's specifications and quality standards.
• Data and reporting: Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, spending, and supplier performance. Generate reports and provide analysis to management to inform strategic decisions.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3, RM4,000.00 per month

• Manufacturing: 2 years (Required)
