PLC Factory Intership

Job description:

We are seeking a hands-on and analytical Manufacturing Engineer Intern to join our production team at the cable factory. This internship offers the opportunity to gain practical experience in manufacturing processes, production optimization, and quality improvement initiatives. Interns will work on real cable projects and be paired with experienced engineers for mentorship and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in analyzing and improving manufacturing processes for efficiency and quality for cable products
• Support the implementation of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
• Help develop and update standard operating procedures and work instructions
• Participate in troubleshooting production issues and identifying root causes
• Collect and analyze production data to support process improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality, maintenance, and design engineering
• Assist in equipment layout planning and workflow optimization

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a diploma/degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or any related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and tools
• Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Able to work in Melaka (Alor Gajah)
