Job Requirements :-

1.Basic Requirements :-

• Bachelor Degree of Science / Post Graduate Diploma/ Diploma in Computer Science Engineeringor equivalent
• At least 3 years of working experience in the related field
• Language proficiency : English and Bahasa Melayu. Mandarin speaker proficiency is and added advantage

2.Technical Skills and Background:

• Fundamental Database knowledge with SQL commands.
• Familiar with private cloud, such as: K8S\ARGOCD\NIFI\KAFKA\AIRFLOW\ES, etc.
• Have i4.0 related project management experience, platform operation and maintenance capabilities
• Proficient in MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems)

3.Problem Solving and Analytical Skills:

• Ability to troubleshoot and identify the root causes of technical issues in automated systems.
• Strong analytical thinking to interpret data from IoT devices and optimize systems.

4.Communication Skills:

• Ability to communicate complex technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams (engineering, IT, production, etc.).

Job Descriptions :-

Typically focuses on maintaining, improving, and optimizing the systems and technologies related to Industry 4.0. The sustaining engineer's work is crucial for ensuring the long-term operational efficiency and uptime of advanced manufacturing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1.System Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

• Ensure the continuous operation of smart systems, robotics, and automated manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues related to machines, sensors, networks, and software platforms.
• Perform root-cause analysis for system failures and work to implement long-term solutions.

2.Process Optimization:

• Analyze data from production systems to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, quality, and throughput.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process enhancements based on insights derived from smart devices, sensors, and analytics tools.

3.Collaboration with R&D/Development Teams:

• Provide feedback and insights to the design and development teams about existing systems to aid future improvements.
• Participate in the rollout of new automation technologies and software platforms within the company.

4.Monitoring and Reporting:

• Develop and maintain monitoring systems to track the health and performance of automated machines and systems.
• Prepare reports on system performance, downtime, and any maintenance performed, and provide recommendations for further improvements.

5.Training and Documentation:

• Develop maintenance documentation and manuals for staff, operators, and maintenance teams.
• Train production and maintenance personnel on new systems, technologies, and processes.
