We're Hiring: SAP S/4 HANA Financial Compliance Specialist – PROJECT Deployment

Location: Malaysia (Hybrid)

Experience: 5+ years in Finance, ICFR, Audit or Project Deployment

Industry: Life Sciences / ERP / Finance Transformation

About the Role:

PROJECT is a multi-year program to define, design, and deploy Future ERP solutions leveraging SAP S/4 HANA and other cloud/on-premise technologies. We are looking for a Financial Compliance Specialist to ensure Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) and Financial Approvals/Delegation of Authorities are implemented across Sales Affiliates and Manufacturing Sites globally.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead FIT-to-Template workshops and scoping exercises for Financial Compliance.
  • Collaborate with local finance teams to implement ICFR and approval processes.
  • Assess localization requirements for ICFR and financial approvals.
  • Contribute to Change Impact Assessments and process improvements.
  • Execute Testing Activities including UT, SAT, UAT, and REG for financial approvals.
  • Deliver Key User / End User training and support Go Live & Hypercare, including Month-end closing.
  • Support adaptation of internal control frameworks in alignment with E2E business processes (R2A, D2P, MP2C, P2RFA, P2DP).
  • Ensure governance, documentation, and change control in line with PROJECT PMM and Finance standards.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field. CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in Finance, ICFR, Audit, or Project Deployment.
  • Strong knowledge of Finance business processes, policies, and internal controls.
  • Excellent Project Management, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Experience with Agile Project Methodologies is a plus.
  • Ability to implement process/control improvements and work in multicultural teams.
  • Excellent English communication skills; Japanese language skills are a plus.
